The "I Love Mom" Walk To Fight Breast Cancer is designed for walkers and runners of all ages and all fitness levels. Whether you are an avid runner, or even if you are just learning to walk, your participation is welcome here. In addition to the 5K run and walk, this family-friendly event features a special Childrens walk designed for little ones who are eight & under. Your registration includes a cool commemorative "I Love Mom" drawstring backpack, water for the walk and lots of fun activitiese for the family.
Hamilton County Park passes are $3 per vehicle on the day of the race.
The Winton Woods park is located off of Winton Rd in the Forest Park/Greenhills Area. Sweetgum Slopes Shelter is located off of LakeRdige Dr. in close proximity to the Lake in the Harper Meadows Section of the park. If you get lost, look for the signs pointing you to Harper Meadows.
Directions from I-275 : Take I-275 to Winton Road-Forest Park exit, south on Winton Road. You will drive past the main park entrance on your left and at the very next street, you will make a Left turn onto Lakeridge Dr. Take the first left turn into the park and make a right when you get to the park attendant. Follow the signs to the walk event site.
Directions from Ronald Reagan Cross-County Highway : Take the Ronald Reagan-Cross County Highway to Winton Road exit, north on Winton Road to Lakeridge Dr. You will make a Right turn onto Lakeridge Dr and take the first left turn into the park. Make a right once you get to the park attendant and follow the signs back to the shelter area
